This Rolex 1603 has a caliber 1570 which has the particularity of having the "hack" of 1972 allowing precise adjustment of the watch by stopping the seconds hand when pulling the crown to adjust the time which was impossible before this blessed year of 72.
The dial of the 1603 has a slightly lowered outer edge compared to the middle of the dial. This earned it the nickname "pie pan" (pie pan), due to its resemblance to an upturned pie pan.
The "pie pan" gives the watch a beautiful dimension that subsequent generations have lost.
This “Wide Boy” dial showcases its superb oversized indexes and its original matching baton hands.

The case is mounted on a Jubilee bracelet with its 6251H buckle and has its original 55 endlinks.
